Palindrome:r.s.s.r (2000) comprise four films: r.race: a 100 metre track event; s.sin: a reading of Grimm’s Red Riding Hood fable; s.sex: reworking of Gustave Courbet’s L’Origine du Monde and r.religion: a contemporary enactment of The Last Supper.  Each sequence is introduced and bound to the previous by a Snellen chart, a scale used by opticians to ascertain visual acuity.
